New plan...!

I've been thinking that perhaps the image and the media might be 1. a bit vague, 2. a bit overdone and 3. a bit rubbish. So I'm thinking I might try and do a more serious look at mental health in general and what people do (or don't) know about it. But then I think this has lots of problems as well because 1. it might be too serious and 2. I don't know if people would talk about it. But then I'm also thinking I could focus it more on how it's represented in the media really badly and people (including me..) don't really know anything about mental health things.

Yeah so basically I have no idea what to do.

This is potentially a very interesting topic, particularly the issue of representations of mental health in the media. It is also, however, also a rather huge topic and would need some narrowing down. Do you have any particular access to mental health professionals or someone that you would want to focus on? We'll talk about this when school starts again.

The body image idea is not to be thrown out just yet either. Even though it's been handled elsewhere, you can still add something original to a treatment of the issue. You should gather some examples of how it's examined in the media, not just documentaries, and we can look at them in Septmeber.
